Additional notes from seller:
The engine replacement was done in February of 2023. A new Holley 4-barrel carb was installed at the time of replacement. They also inspected all of the frame and suspension and re-built the brake systems while they had it. We're trying to find all of the receipts and documentation on this now and will send when find them.
The steer tires have less than 5000 miles and the rear have less than 1000.
One oil change has been done after break in. It's not due for another one yet.
The ignition switch is worn so I have the parts to replace that.
Locking door handles have been replaced.
The transmission was rebuilt in 2020 in Charlotte and has less than 5000 miles on the rebuild.
The truck does need a muffler replacement.
Proofing Door F/U
Have you explored replacing the broken glass? If so, pls provide any details. Does the manufacturer offer replacement glass or a new door? Or, is it easy enough to remove the broken glass and replace via an independent glass provider? The manufacturer says that it would be best to replace the entire door. They are checking to see if they have one in stock
Vehicle History and Condition
Maintenance Records: Can you provide detailed maintenance logs? The truck has been driven less than 5000 miles since I purchased it in 2020. It has less than 1000 on the new engine so has had only the break in oil change. The previous owner didn’t have maintenance records
Accident History: Has the truck been involved in any accidents or sustained significant damage? It hasn’t been in any accident since I purchased it and there’s no indication that it has been prior. It did get backed over a fire pit ring that flipped up and bent the fuel tank. The tank and gauge still function properly. Also the engine backfired when the alternator stopped charging and blew a hole in the muffler. It will need a new muffler
Engine and Mechanical Components
Electrical Systems: Are all electrical components, including lights, signals functioning properly? The alternator was recently replaced and as far as I know all electrical components are still functioning properly
Heat and A/C: Does the heat and A/C operate normally. Does the generator power the heat and/or A/C? If so, how much more fuel, propane, etc., is used per day when heat or AC is on versus when off? The roof mount Dometic AC/Heat works as it should. It does draw a lot of amps so requires a substantial generator to run it if other systems are on at the same time. If it’s just the AC a 3600W operates it just fine. With the AC on the generator would burn 1 to 2 gallons more per day
Kitchen Equipment and Appliances
Appliance Condition: Are all kitchen appliances in good working order? Have they been regularly maintained? Please indicate how old the major appliances are (oven, etc.) and original purchase price. The oven/proofer were used when I purchased them and I’m not sure of the age. They work properly. They’ve only been used 3 or 4 times since then so the only maintenance was cleaning after use. The sandwich station and coffee maker were new.
Bill of Sale / User Manuals: do you have the bill of sale of the major appliances, make/model #s (if not easily accessible on equipment) and original userrs manuals for the equipment installed in the vehicle? I don’t have a user manual for the oven/proofer. I’m still searching for the ones for the sandwich station and coffee maker.
Generator: How many watt generator was used to power food truck? How much fuel, propane, etc., did you use in a typical business day? Any considerations that I should know about before buying a replacement generator? I originally installed a Honda EB10000 gen. It produced around 82 amps which was adequate to run all systems at once. The oven draws 18 amps, the coffee maker 13 amps, the Dometic AC 13 amps, the sandwich station around 6 amps, the exhaust fan around 6 amps, the small freezer around 2 amps. Hardly ever are all systems running at once so the EU7000 would probably be sufficient. Also, the EB10000 would use around 10 gallons of gasoline a day. The EU7000 would use a good bit less. Also, the truck is not currently set up for propane.
Layout: Does the kitchen layout suit your bakery needs? Is there adequate space for preparation and storage? The kitchen layout worked well the few times it was in use. My daughter said that the prep space and storage were adequate
Equipment Usage and Maintenance
Frequency of Use: How often were the bakery appliances, such as ovens and mixers, used? Rarely since the business never really got off the ground. Also, there is no mixer on the truck
Maintenance Practices: What routine maintenance was performed on the bakery equipment? Are there records of professional servicing or repairs? No maintenance, servicing, or repairs since they saw almost no use
Cleaning Procedures: What cleaning protocols were followed for the equipment? It would have been based on ServeSafe requirements
Spare Parts and Accessories
Included Accessories: What additional accessories or attachments are included with the equipment? Two carafes with the Bunn coffee maker. All of the compartment bins and lids with the sandwich station. Microwave is included. One small freezer is included
Spare Parts Availability: Are spare parts readily available for the specific models of equipment? I don’t have any information on this
Structural, etc.
Structural Integrity: Are there any signs of rust, leaks, or structural damage to the truck's body or interior? The frame has normal rusting due to age. Other than that none.
Pest Control: Has the truck had any issues with pests? Are there signs of infestations, such as droppings or damage? None
