Why does the top floor need replacing?
It has buckled/separated in spots so it doesn’t look perfect, but is functional.
Does any water leak in from the roof, windows, ac units, or other places?
No leaks that I am aware of.
How many miles (approximately) have the current owners driven?
Is the bus automatic or manual?
Is there any mold, mold odor, or history of mold remediation/treatment?
Are the wires on the roof and solar panel secured for driving?
Can you (legally) drive this with the AC units protruding?
I’m not 100% sure, but it was registered as is with an inspection and nothing was said about it.
The holes in the exhaust manifold - does that lead to exhaust fumes in the interior?
Is it legal to drive?
It needs up to date registration and insurance, but other than that, yes.
What kind of insulation was used in this build?
1 inch closed cell foam board on the floor and spray foam in the walls and ceiling.
How long, with the current electrical setup, can you boondock?
That all depends on how much you use and how sunny it is. Water is more of a limiting factor.
What is the length of the bus?
Are there any mechanical issues, previously or present?
The starter has been replaced and a few brake lines and brake pads replaced. Two new starting batteries were purchased last year, but they are now dead. There are holes in the exhaust manifold so the exhaust turbo does not run at its full potential. Other than that it runs and drives smoothly.
Has the bus been insulated, ceiling, walls, and floor?
What condition are the tires in? Year printed on sidewall?
There is no cracking on any of the tires and they all hold air. I am not sure of the year.
Is it registered as a motor home/RV?
What is the current mileage?
I’m not sure, as the odometer has stopped working. It says 125,000, but has been driven at least 5,000 miles since.
